Concord, Calif. - During the 2025–26 school year, Wyatt Ferguson distinguished himself as one of the premier multi-sport athletes at De La Salle High School, earning recognition as the school's Student-Athlete of the Year through a combination of elite performance, leadership, and competitive success.
On the football field, Ferguson played a pivotal role in anchoring the Spartans' line as both an offensive and defensive force. A varsity starter, he contributed to a dominant season that included deep postseason success and a North Coast Section playoff run. Statistically, he was among the team's most impactful defensive players, recording 39 total tackles and eight sacks, while his efforts earned him all-league and all-region recognition. His success culminated in a collegiate commitment to Weber State University.
Equally impressive was Ferguson's dominance in wrestling during the winter season. He compiled an outstanding 22–5 record and captured multiple individual championships, including East Bay Athletic League (EBAL), North Coast Section (NCS) Divisional, and overall NCS titles, while advancing to the 2026 CIF State Championships.

William Corr - Water Polo
Will Corr anchored De La Salle's water polo team with consistency, leadership, and elite shot-stopping ability. The starting goalkeeper, Corr, posted multiple double-digit save performances, finishing the season with a school record 267 saves. He also ends his career as a Spartan with 708 saves, the most in program history. Corr's standout play earned him EBAL Defensive Player of the Year honors for the second straight year, capping a season that left a lasting impact on the program.
Tanner Lustig - Water Polo/Swimming
Tanner Lustig is a finalist for the Student-Athlete of the Year, recognizing his excellence in both water polo and swimming. A dynamic and versatile competitor, Lustig earned 2nd Team All CIF-NCS Open Division honors and 1st Team All-EBAL recognition during the fall water polo season. His commitment, athleticism, and leadership across two demanding sports have made him a key contributor to the Spartans' success across the aquatics program.
Ibrahim Monawar - Basketball
During his senior season, Ibrahim Monawar delivered an exceptional all-around performance, combining academic and athletic excellence. The 2026 De La Salle Salutatorian with a 4.47 GPA and NCS President's List honoree, he ranked among the top students in his class. On the court, he averaged 13 points per game and earned First Team All-EBAL honors. Monawar's leadership, discipline, and consistency elevated his team and solidified a remarkable close to his De La Salle career.
Graham Schlicht - Baseball
De La Salle senior Graham Schlicht has been named a finalist for the 2026 Student-Athlete of the Year, capping a dominant baseball career. A three-year varsity standout, he's compiled a 17–1 record with a 1.07 ERA, 118 innings pitched, and 156 strikeouts in his career. A 2025 All-American, All-State selection, and EBAL Pitcher of the Year, Schlicht has earned a Stanford athletic scholarship and is a strong candidate for the upcoming MLB Draft.
