The Super Bowl always involves a higher level of production than a normal NFL broadcast, especially extra cameras and new personnel to operate them.
For years, broadcasters enlisted local high school teams in the Super Bowl market to practice with the unfamiliar equipment in the final days before the game. This year, my colleague Austin Karp reports that NBC tapped powerhouse De La Salle from nearby Concord, Calif., to help out on the field at Levi's Stadium on Friday.
