The De La Salle Athletics community is proud to congratulate Head Football Coach Justin Alumbaugh '98 on being named to the 2025-26 MaxPreps High School Coaching 100, a national recognition honoring 100 coaches from across the country who have made a significant impact on high school athletics.
Alumbaugh is one of just a select group of football coaches recognized on this year's list, earning the honor after another outstanding season leading the Spartans. Now entering his 14th season as head coach, he has continued the tradition of excellence established at De La Salle while building an impressive legacy of his own.
In recognizing Alumbaugh, MaxPreps highlighted the remarkable consistency of the Spartan program under his leadership. Since succeeding legendary coach Bob Ladouceur, De La Salle has finished as the No. 1 team in the North Coast Section in each of Alumbaugh's 13 seasons. He owns a remarkable 148-21 career record, continuing one of the most successful traditions in high school football.
A proud De La Salle alumnus from the Class of 1998, Alumbaugh has spent nearly three decades coaching within the Spartan program, mentoring countless student-athletes while emphasizing the values of faith, brotherhood, discipline, and servant leadership that define De La Salle Football.
Congratulations to Coach Alumbaugh on this well-deserved national recognition and for his continued commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
