De La Salle Track & Field delivered a dominant performance on Friday, capturing the EBAL Championship behind multiple event victories, meet records, and impressive depth across the board.
The Spartans were led by another historic performance from Chase Young, who set a new meet record in the 110-meter hurdles with a blazing time of 13.93. Young's performance continues an outstanding postseason stretch as one of the top hurdlers in Northern California.

Dean added another championship performance later in the meet, capturing the 200-meter title while breaking the meet record with an impressive time of 20.92.
The EBAL team title adds another chapter to a strong 2026 season for the Spartans, who have continued to build momentum heading into the section and state competitions.
Next up for De La Salle is the NCS Tri-Valley Meet as the Spartans look to continue their championship run against the top competition in the section.
