The 2025–26 De La Salle Wrestling season was defined by growth, resilience, and Spartan pride as the team continued to build momentum throughout league and postseason competition.
The EBAL Championships showcased the leadership of De La Salle's senior class, as Wyatt Ferguson and Cameron Shirazi both captured individual EBAL titles. Their performances set the tone for the Spartans heading into the postseason.
At the inaugural NCS Division I East Bay Divisionals, De La Salle delivered an impressive showing with nine total medalists. The Spartans placed three wrestlers in the finals, with Wyatt Ferguson and Dom Novosel earning first-place finishes, while Cameron Shirazi turned in a strong runner-up performance.
Senior leaders Sha'him Kimbrell and Max Munzinger battled their way to third-place finishes, while freshmen Cyrus Tamplen and Ojani Sandez each secured NCS Divisional medals in their first varsity seasons. Sophomores Antonio Colombana and LJ Olsen, both first-year varsity starters, also contributed to the team's strong medal count and overall postseason success.
The momentum carried into the NCS Championships, where Wyatt Ferguson capped off an outstanding season by capturing the NCS title. Cameron Shirazi added a fourth-place finish, while Dom Novosel battled to seventh place to earn an NCS medal.
With strong senior leadership, emerging young talent, and a continued commitment to Spartan excellence, the future of De La Salle Wrestling remains bright.
