The Spartan Track and Field team took the first step into the post-season with its third consecutive EBAL championship. Though Coach Harvey wasn't there with the team, he was never far from the minds of the athletes and coaches. The team scored points nearly across the board, taking victory in sprint, distance, and jump events. Two highlights were school records in the 100m dash and Triple Jump where Jaden Jefferson and Anthony Dean both broke their own school records. Next up for the Spartans is the Tri-Valley championship at Clayton Valley Charter High School next Saturday. The Spartans are favored to win that meet as well.
