Practice Duration - For new runners, practice will last approximately 90 minutes at the beginning of the season. This includes announcements, warmups, workout, cool down, and core/strength work.
-
Practice Needs - Essential Gear for Cross Country. (There will be a Team Night at Road Runner Sports TBA. This might be a good opportunity to get any critical gear you don't have yet.)
-
Multi-sport Athletes - Cross Country does not interfere with any DLS Winter sports. In fact, Cross Country is one of the best forms of conditioning for Winter sports. If you participate in club sports, we expect you to be at practice every day, but we can sometimes adjust practice if necessary to accommodate conflicts. Many of our best runners have been multi-sport athletes.
