Heath Salter delivered an exceptional performance, winning the race with grit and strategy. From the opening mile, Heath positioned himself among the top five runners before responding to an early surge from Tamalpais standout Lucas Ruark.

Ruark built a 40-meter lead by the 1.75-mile mark, but Heath stayed composed, methodically closing the gap. On the final hill, Heath made his move—surging past Ruark and never looking back. He stretched his lead to seven seconds by the finish, capping off a brilliant, tactical race.

As a team, De La Salle finished fifth overall, just shy of fourth place after a strong showing from Redwood. Still, it was an excellent performance and a promising sign of things to come as we inch closer to the post-season.
