The De La Salle Baseball program is proud to congratulate four Spartan alumni who heard their names called during the 2026 Major League Baseball Draft. Their selections are a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and the strong foundation built during their time in green and silver.

Making the accomplishment even more special, all four players were key contributors to De La Salle's 2023 CIF NorCal Championship team, helping lead the Spartans to one of the program's most memorable seasons.

The 2026 MLB Draft selections include:

• Tyler Spangler '26 – Philadelphia Phillies, 1st Round (36th Overall)
• Cal Randall '23 – St. Louis Cardinals, 5th Round (146th Overall)
• Bear Harrison '23 – New York Yankees, 5th Round (160th Overall)
• Tanner Griffith '23 – Kansas City Royals, 11th Round (329th Overall)

The quartet now joins a growing list of De La Salle alumni who have gone on to play professional baseball. Congrats guys!!
