De La Salle Set To Host Inaugural 151 Football Showcase At Memorial Stadium
CONCORD, Calif. — With the inaugural 151 Football Showcase just around the corner, De La Salle High School is excited to welcome four elite California high school football programs to Memorial Stadium at the University of California, Berkeley, on Saturday, September 26.
The inaugural showcase will bring together De La Salle, Corona Centennial, Saint Mary's of Stockton and Marin Catholic for a memorable day celebrating competition, tradition and the legacy of high school football.

The showcase will feature two exciting matchups:
11:00 a.m.
Saint Mary's (Stockton) vs. Marin Catholic
2:00 p.m.
De La Salle vs. Corona Centennial
HONORING 151
The showcase pays tribute to one of the greatest achievements in high school football history — De La Salle's historic 151-game winning streak from 1992-2004.
Under legendary head coach Bob Ladouceur, the Spartans won 151 consecutive games, establishing the longest winning streak in the history of American football.
The number 151 represents the commitment, discipline, teamwork and character that have defined De La Salle football for generations. The remarkable streak became a symbol of excellence that extended beyond the game itself and was later chronicled in the book and feature film When the Game Stands Tall.
The inaugural 151 Football Showcase carries that legacy forward by bringing together four accomplished programs and providing today's student-athletes with an opportunity to compete on one of the Bay Area's most iconic stages.

"This is an opportunity to celebrate the history of De La Salle football and the values that continue to guide our program."
