The De La Salle swimming team capped off another outstanding season with a sixth-place finish at the 2026 CIF State Swimming & Diving Championships, competing against the top programs in California.
The Spartans were highlighted by a strong performance in the 200 Medley Relay, where the team of Blake Hill, Chase Lewis, Matt Nakayama, and Tanner Lustig earned an impressive third-place finish in one of the premier events of the meet.
De La Salle also delivered a fifth-place finish in the 200 Freestyle Relay behind the quartet of Matthew Nakayama, Dmitriy Oranskiy, Logan Larive, and Tanner Lustig. The Spartans added another top-10 relay finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay, with Nathan Kondapalli, Dmitriy Oranskiy, Max Johnson, and Logan Larive placing ninth overall.
Individually, Dmitriy Oranskiy continued his stellar postseason with a ninth-place finish in the 200 Freestyle, while Blake Hill earned seventh place in the 100 Backstroke against one of the deepest fields in the state.
The strong showing at the CIF State Meet comes on the heels of De La Salle's fifth consecutive North Coast Section Championship and further solidifies the Spartans as one of the premier swimming programs in California.
