Congrats to Heath Salter '26 - UCSB Gaucho XC Invitational Champion!

Congrats to all Spartans on getting the season started well. Special kudos to Heath Salter for winning the Championship Race at the UCSB Invite!

The 2025 Gaucho XC Invitational took place on 8/30/25, at the UCSB Lagoon in Santa Barbara. Senior Heath Salter finished in 1st place overall with a time of 15:20.1, running an impressive 5:06 pace during the race. Danny Accardo (20th) and Ryan Cabreira (21st) joined Heath in the top 25 finishers. The V7 showed well in the annual kickoff race in the city that Coach Pelster built!
