The De La Salle basketball program took time away from the court on Tuesday to make a difference in the classroom, participating in the school's reading program at St. Isidore, St. Mary's, and Christ the King.

Spartan student-athletes spent time reading to younger students, sharing their love of learning while building connections with the next generation. The visits provided a meaningful opportunity for De La Salle players to serve as positive role models and demonstrate the importance of giving back to the community.

At Christ the King, senior Olanre Owoborode added a little basketball excitement to the visit, treating students to a demonstration of his slam-dunking ability!

The visits were a great reminder that being a Spartan is about more than what happens on the court. Through service, leadership, and connection, our student-athletes continue to put De La Salle's values into action.
