Spartan Athletics Weekly - May 23, 2022
This is a recap of the prior week’s action in DLS Spartans Athletics!
Swimming and Diving
Congrats to the Swimmers as they finished 5th in the state! Great season!!

Lacrosse
The boys had an impressive performance in the NCS championship game, defeating Cal High 14-3. Final record was 21-2 on the season. Well done!
Volleyball
VB advanced to the NCS D2 championship game, before falling to Campolindo. We then traveled to Monta Vista in the first round of CIF NorCals. Our season came to an end there with a solid overall record of 22-10.
Track and Field
The team finished top 5 at the NCS Tri-Valley meet. We then had 2 individuals qualify for the CIF State Meet - Anthony Trucks 110M Hurdles and Chukwunonso Udeh High Jump.

Golf
The Spartan Golf team dominated the NCS D1 championship, winning the title by 32 strokes!

Baseball
Baseball opened the NCS playoff run with 2 wins. First, a 10-3 win vs Freedom and then an EBAL rematch victory over San Ramon Valley. Liberty awaits in the semi-final on 5/24 at DLS.
