Spartan Athletics Weekly - April 25, 2022

This is a recap of the prior week’s action in DLS Spartans Athletics!

Lacrosse

The Lax team is 7-1 over their last 8 games. They took a road trip up to Seattle over Spring Break and went 2-0 against really solid competition, including a 9-5 victory over Bellevue. 3 EBAL games on the slate this week and then its NCS time starting on 5/3.

Volleyball

VB has a 17-8 overall record after playing a ton of games recently. Highlights include 3 wins at the Bellarmine Invitational and a big league win vs Foothill.

Baseball

Spartans continue to shine after a 3-0 EBAL week. 3 huge wins all on the road! The boys now sit at 16-3 with Dougherty Valley, Monte Vista and Granite Bay on the calendar this week. 

Rugby

Finished the season undefeated and received a bye in the first round of the Premier Club Playoffs. DLS is the only Single School who qualified for the playoffs! We will play San Francisco Golden Gate at 1p on Saturday 4/30. Game will be held at Saint Mary’s College on the Pat Vincent field.
