Face Masks
What are the procedures for face coverings/masks for the 2021-22 school year?
All staff, students, and visitors - ages 2+, regardless of vaccination status - are required to wear face coverings over both their nose and mouth when indoors on any PUSD property, it is Highly recommended that people wear facecovrings when attending outdoor events. This procedure is required at all times except when actively eating outdoors or playing a sport which has been cleared to be “mask free” while competing. All other sports and bench personnel require a mask at all times.
What type of face covering/mask may be worn?
Recommended:
● Multi-layered cloth masks
● N95 Respirators (NIOSH-approved)*
● Fitted medical mask
Not recommended:
● Single layer cloth masks
● Bandanas
● Gaiters
● Valved mask
What are the physical distancing requirements?
Per CDPH guidance, there are no physical distancing requirements indoors or outdoors, however, best practice is for space between occupants to be maximized. The only limit regarding the number of people in any given space is the max occupancy of the room/facility. If you have any COVID symptoms, you must stay home. Please be aware of who you are sitting next to during contests so we can contact trace in the event of an exposure. Guests should fill out the Online Daily Health Screener - Visitor
Admissions Policy
Amador Valley High School charges an admission fee for: football, volleyball, basketball, and wrestling. Fees are determined by the EBAL, and are as follows:
Football and Basketball
● $8.00 for adults. ● $5.00 for students with ID cards, senior citizens, children under 12
Volleyball and Wrestling
● $5.00 for all tickets.
All spectators will enter through the main entrance. Spectators are not allowed to bring outside drinks,
students are not allowed to bring backpacks. We accept the following as passes for entry:
EBAL Pass
NCS/CIF Pass
Participating school staff ID (Valid for the staff member only, any additional guests must pay)
Ticketing is completely digital through https://gofan.co/app/school/CA22849
QR codes will be present for anyone who hasn’t purchased tickets prior to the event (basketball, football, volleyball, and wrestling). No cash will be on hand at the gate.
Any requests for visiting team personnel to be admitted for free must be submitted to the Athletic Director 48 hours prior to the contest. Email or share this gate list to Alphonso Powell, [email protected] There is no re-entry to any event.
VISITING TEAMS
Locker rooms are available for visiting teams change, If access is granted, a visiting coach or administrator must supervise athletes at all times.
The visiting team bus will park in the North Parking Lot. This lot is the parking lot adjacent to the baseball field, please use the loading zone in front of the baseball field to unload and load your equipment.
Press box: The visiting team may use the 2nd floor of the press box to film or spot
Water is available for teams if needed, however ice is not available except for injuries.
BAND
● Band Entry is free for those in band uniform and carrying an instrument.
● 1 chaperone for every 15 band members is expected to supervise.
● Band Chaperones/Boosters/Designees may secure a section of the visiting bleachers on a first come first serve basis.
CHEER/DANCE/SPIRIT SQUADS
● Cheer Dance Spirit Squad Entry is free for those in official school sponsored uniform.
● 1 chaperone for every 15 spirit squad members is expected to supervise.
● Spirit squad members may only cheer on their school’s designated sidelines.
● Spirit Squads must contact the athletic director to secure performance if desired.
