De La Salle Basketball is set to host the 28th annual MLK Classic

28th Annual MLK Classic Returns on January 19

The tradition continues as the 28th Annual MLK Classic, presented by Acrisure, tips off on Monday, January 19, 2026, bringing together a strong lineup of high school basketball programs for a full day of competition.

Held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the MLK Classic has become a premier showcase event in a celebration of basketball, sportsmanship, and community.

The day is divided into two action-packed sessions, beginning with morning games and culminating in an exciting evening slate. Fans can look forward to marquee matchups throughout the day, including appearances by Sac High, Bishop O'Dowd, Palma, Moreau Catholic, Central Catholic (OR), St. Joseph, De La Salle, Riordan, Salesian, and Modesto Christian.

Game Schedule Highlights

·        Session 1 begins at 10:00 AM

·        Session 2 tips off at 3:00 PM and runs through the evening

The MLK Classic consistently draws some of the top talent in the region and provides an electric atmosphere for players and fans alike.

Tickets are available online at GoFan.com. You must purchase a ticket for each session. Fans are encouraged to purchase in advance and come out to be part of this special day of basketball and celebration.

Session 1 - HOME TEAM WILL WEAR WHITE AND LISTED SECOND 

10:00 - Sac High vs Bishop O'Dowd 

11:20 - Kings Academy vs  Riverside Poly

12:40 - Palma vs Moreau Catholic 

At the conclusion of session 1, the gym will be emptied.  All spectators will need to leave the gym.  

Session 2 - HOME TEAM WILL WEAR WHITE AND LISTED SECOND 

3:00 – Central Catholic (Oregon) vs St. Pius 

4:20 – St. Joseph (Santa Maria) vs De La Salle 

5:40 – San Joaquin Memorial vs Riordan 

7:00 – Salesian vs Modesto Christian
