DLS Swim & Dive NCS 4-Peat Complete!!

De La Salle's Swim and Dive program won its 4th straight North Coast Section title today! The Spartans who are led by Coach Tom Johnson, once again showed their depth as a team to capture the team title by over 100 points. "We got the hardest working group of kids I've ever seen," Coach Johnson said. "People think of swimming as an individual sport, but this is a team and they perform like a team. They perform for each other and they're just an amazing group of guys."

Junior Blake Hill took first place in the 100 butterfly in 48.92. Matthew Nakayama, Finn Sepic, Jed Johnson and Charley Wilson took first place in the 200 freestyle relay, setting a new school record time of 1:23.39! The following Spartans will be heading down to Clovis on Thursday to chase a STATE TITLE!!
