In a battle of top-ten ranked teams in the state, the Spartans jumped out to a 21-0 lead and never looked back in a 35-14 homecoming win versus previously unbeaten Cathedral Catholic. Brayden Knight ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns, Jamal Johnson-Lucas rushed for two scores, and Greg Jones was the first touchdown scorer of the night. Defensively, De La Salle held the prolific Dons to their lowest scoring and yardage output of the season. The Spartans head into their bye week at 6-0 and next play at Amador Valley on October 17.
